Sterling Events Launches New Design & Decor Division With By Design Event Group

Sterling Events announced that they have joined forces with By Design Event Group based in Charlotte, N.C. to open a new design and décor division, Sterling By Design.

Sterling By Design will continue to offer clients award winning event design and décor from former By Design Event Group owner Kristen Prestwood. Prestwood was the recent recipient of the 2010 National Association of Catering Executives (NACE) Rising Star Award and has also won awards from ISES, the International Special Events Society, for best event décor, best floral design, best themed event, and best corporate event.

“I’ve worked so closely with the team at Sterling Events over the past few years and we have developed such a solid relationship”, says Prestwood. “We build on each other’s strengths to provide stellar event execution to each of our clients. With Sterling By Design, we will continue to provide excellence in design and execution.”

In her new role, Prestwood will be heading up Sterling By Design as Director of Event Design and will serve as the primary point of contact for Sterling’s clients seeking design inspiration and execution for wedding, celebration and corporate event clients in and around the Southeast.
