Speaking Green: Two Wheeling It

On May 7, I had the pleasure of joining hundreds of other Charlotte biking enthusiasts, including Mayor Anthony Foxx, as we cruised into Uptown to celebrate biking. Now I will be the first to admit that I’m a complete novice at riding and only recently purchased a used bike to commute to work a few days a week and make runs to the Common Market and Harris Teeter, but it’s such a cool experience. When I’m riding, I’m a part of such a great family of brother and sister riders from across the city, and one day soon I’ll be able to venture out across Charlotte.
